Expand access to urgent and emergency healthcare resources for Coastside residents.
Strengthen emergency response planning and infrastructure to reduce fire and flood risks.
Support balanced housing solutions that meet local needs while preserving Half Moon Bay’s small-town character.
Since joining the Half Moon Bay City Council in 2018, Robert has worked across housing, emergency preparedness, community services, transportation, and city finances. His approach is grounded in collaboration, listening, and practical problem-solving.

Robert helped bring affordable housing partners Mercy Housing and MidPen Housing together with city staff to explore potential sites.
That work contributed to housing opportunities including Metzger and 555 Kelly.

When the Coast House transitional housing project raised community concerns, Robert worked with city, county, law-enforcement, and other officials to organize a public meeting focused on questions, transparency, and trust.

Robert has served on the city’s finance committee and supports balanced budgets, strong reserves, and long-term improvements to city revenue.
